Japanese candlesticks provide a visual insight into Market psychology as one of many tools in technical analysis of the financial markets for trading success. This app provides 1) quick identification and interpretation of current market trading direction, 2) a complete reference on 100+ Japanese Candlestick patterns, and 3) two training games to build your knowledge of charting patterns.

Candice helps you quickly find the possible Japanese candlestick patterns in a chart from input of the trading situation. No more looking through numerous graphic images to match or memorizing what each pattern means. Enter specific values to find possible matches and then see the trade action. Patterns can also be found by name, prior trend, signal type (bearish/bullish), number of candles, or marked favorites. Each candle pattern provides image, name, signal, reliability, rating, trend, colors, how to recognize, recommended trade actions, and your own custom notes.

Candice employs a visual table of contents as well as a full index dictionary name reference. Caveat notes are provided as a separate extendable database on chart patterns as well as other references.

Candice comes with three game study operations: Flashcards, Guess and Press, and Slide Show to learn candle patterns. You can configure which patterns to learn or all of them.

Pros and cons of Candice Japanese Candlesticks Index app for iPhone and iPad

Candice Japanese Candlesticks Index app good for

Very useful. There are some problems, like for example about difference betwen bullish or bearish tendence in some candle, but it is quickly configured. The author is very easy contactly. I liked it.
Good quick reference flash cards! Just getting confused that how I am suppose to add my own candlestick pattern as in the given option to do so? Please, add some help about this feature!
Nice flashcard app. Reading a book on candlesticks is your best bet. This is great as a refresher or for studying pattern.
Hi from italy... Very good and unique app.... Hope on more updates and more games to learn technical analysis... If developed this app could be a winning idea.
The new 2.0 version is great. The charts are clearer, the interface has been improved and corrections made. Because its so useful, Im giving it 5 stars even though theres still room for improvement. For instance, I look forward to seeing a few interface refinements that will make it more intuitive. In any case, Candice is a wonderful technical analysis learning tool!
The App stops the need for going to several books and personal notes to search for a particular trade pattern and possible actions. It’s not just a simple flash card reference but does provide this capability in separate tab in game format. Instead it provides a full database to query by name and attributes (bearish, bullish, number of days, etc) and suggested actions. Some candle patterns have contradicting reliability and confirmation opinions between sources, so you can modify your own best values for each pattern or add new patterns. Also you don’t have to look for a pattern, the pattern can be found by input of the trade environment (prior bull trend, three days, reversal). The drawings are accurate and some have annotations and all have step by step bullet recognition notes.
